Weddings & Receptions
Your reception has its own rhythm: arrivals, dinner, speeches, a first dance, and time together on the dance floor. Start the music conversation with the moments that matter to you.
Book UsKristen & The Noise is based in the Greater Philadelphia region. Share your event location when you inquire; arrangements are discussed individually.
First dances and meaningful songs
Share your first-dance idea and any family dances or special song requests early. Ask which requests can be accommodated before building them into the reception itinerary.
Build a reception itinerary
Include introductions, meal service, toasts, cake cutting, and the venue's finish time. A shared timeline helps identify when music should lead the evening and when speeches need the room's attention.
Coordinate with your venue
Provide the venue contact, access arrangements, performance area, and any sound or timing restrictions. For a destination wedding, include the location and travel dates so the details can be discussed.
Planning questions
Can we request a first-dance song?
Yes—include the song and artist in your inquiry. Requests need to be discussed and confirmed; submitting one is not a promise it will be performed.
What should we send with our wedding inquiry?
Your date, venue or location, approximate reception schedule, and the moments you want music to support are a useful starting point.
